Concept: LA Fashion Week
My favorite designer of the night, by far, was Chambers. An easy going, classically Californian (with a hint of 90s flair), Menswear Line. Is it really any surprise that the one Menswear designer showing was my fav?
The night was all about denim, studs & spikes, texture and dark/edgy styling. Loved it!
Now this is what inspires me...

What I Wore: Tied up With a Bow
I'm hoping this is the last hurrah of Winter, with the recently crisp weather. Though I did get to wear my Vintage Plaid Jacket one last time, I'm SO ready to welcome the warmth of Spring (and the clothes that go along).
If you haven't caught on yet, I'm obsessed with Menswear! Please see exhibit a & b above and below, with the ribbon bow tie. It's such a cute little touch of masculine without feeling uptight and overdone. But don't worry I will be rocking the traditional bow tie (I've been holding off for the right moment). Stay tuned!
What kind of masculine touches are you drawn to, with your personal style?

What I Wore: Orange Pop
And again my Pop of Color obsession of the moment. You gotta love a good solid orange... red tones are my favorite! I love mixing a little unexpected, so I paired my bright pop with a muted pastel jacket (also worn here).
Until my next pop of color... what's your fav color of the moment?

What I Wore: POC
Pop of Color (POC, duh!). Is what I'm obsessed with right now... well and Stylist Brad Goreski of It's a Brad, Brad World. I kinda borrowed that term from him! Brad is so incredibly cute and fuels my fire for menswear! I love his little bow ties, bright pops of color, denim on denim (did I mention he's a fellow Canadian?), cute little pups and probably most of all, that he totally reminds me of my good friend Marco! Who is also incredibly cute and stylish (see his blog here).
So, I'm determined to add some more POC's in my life. Starting here with this pop of burnt orange!
How do you add POC to your outfit?
xxM
Forever 21 burnt orange long cardigan, Merona stripped tee, Gap bell bottoms, Dolce Vita booites, Vintage gold necklaces and belt

Fringing For: Marni X H&M
Dear Marni,
I've had a love affair with you, for quite sometime. Yet you have always been so out of reach... until March 8th!!!!
Marni for H&M (I've been so excited for this!) collaboration will hit stores March 8th. I'm not going to get my hopes up, cause people be getting crazy for designer studs via H&M. But I will say, I must have everything in the above photo and I'm dying for these polka dots and prints! So I hope I can snag at least one piece!
Is anyone else so excited about this!? Planning to camp out the night before?
